A long, long time ago Molly underwent surgery on her leg to help with her mobility. When she came back to Brownies, she had a cage on her leg, but this did not stop her from participating in activities from making dens and being part of the carnival in a wheelchair.
Throughout all of this Molly has been smiling and never let anything get her down. Because of the resilience, determination, strength, she has become a role model for the other Brownies. So Tawny Owl, Brown Owl and I thought she deserved a Hero award.
It has taken a long time to get it signed because it had to be signed by 3 people the chief guide, chief commissioner, and county commissioner and on Tuesday she finally got it presented to her, her mum and little sister were there to watch too.
Well done Molly you have proved girls really can do anything. We are very proud of her.
