Weald Division celebrated Thinking Day at St Andrews Church, Paddock Wood.
The event started with the fire alarm going off as the girls were arriving. Fortunately, it was only a fault and we didn’t have to wait outside too long. We followed the WAGGGS Impact theme with Lady Olave Baden-Powell (in full regalia) reading out a letter.
We produced rubbish letters to spell out Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, made tissue paper trefoils, melted chocolate over aluminium cans to dip fruit or marshmallows in and we all renewed our Promises.
There were also delicious cakes and biscuits to buy at the end to support a Guide with her fund raising towards an international trip.
