Gold for 1st Vinters Rainbows

The Coronavirus restrictions have affected all of us. The full lockdown in March saw local clubs closing early. At 1st Vinters Rainbows we have been keeping in touch with the girls and each other by using email, WhatsApp, and our Facebook group.

One of our Rainbows has excelled herself during this difficult time. Emily Gretton has completed all the challenges set and has reached her GOLD award. The Gold awards are difficult to achieve. The girls must show real dedication and commitment. It is a big ask for girls aged 5-7 years.

Emily is off to Brownies now, and we will miss her su

nny smile and positive approach to everything she does. We wish her luck with her Guiding journey.

We had a special one-off outside meeting on the 26th September to say goodbye to our “leavers”, including Emily. At that meeting we were proud to award Emily not only her GOLD award and certificate but also the BRONZE and SILVER too.

Congratulations go to all the girls awarded badges on the 26th September. This is the first GOLD award to be given at 1st Vinters Rainbows.
